In the living room we moved the sofa to the window wall because it was not centered on the fireplace and this allowed us to create a venue for the wall to use the space to display art and a family heirloom table to emphasize it's importance in the space.

Relocating the bed in the bedroom allowed the wall between the windows to become a focal point that pops the moment you enter the room. Taking the drapes that were simply hanging straight, and swagging them created a master suite that becomes something almost regal.

Too many doors and doorways were breaking up the space and not allowing the clients furniture to stand out. By sliding the dresser down the wall and grouping it with the oversized mirror, helped emphasize the beauty of the furniture pieces and make a much more stated appearance in the room. They also work better with the bed placement and pull the bedrooms furniture elements together.

The small mirror in the dining room just wasn't working with it's surroundings and was too small of an element on the wall. The mirror was relocated to the living room and replaced it with a larger mirror and flanked it with two wall accessories to emphasize the wall and compliment the rest of the furniture.

The living room had issues with the fireplace not being seen as a focal point of the room. By removing the large club chairs in the space we were able to give generous circulation space in a very high traffic living space off the kitchen. The relocation of the sofa enabled us to create a focal point other than the fireplace on the adjacent wall that is equally viewed coming down the hallway into the space. Trading the area rug with the one in the dining room added a "punch of play" that we were looking for.

The family room had an odd shape that made it difficult to put any kind of a media center that would be balanced with the other elements of the room especially the seating. The media center as removed and a different console piece from upstairs was brought down to anchor the wall with storage, as more of a focal point, that didn’t have to be centered on anything else in the room.

Creating a wide opening into the study by moving the armoire to another wall opened this small space up. Changing the seating group to the outside wall, helped create a focal point upon entering the space instead of hiding.
